Our final swim

Final build is now live!

Over the past few weeks, we have been hard at work on Penguin Party. This was the game we chose to develop for our Game Projects course over ten weeks ago. Despite the ups and downs along the way, we’re incredibly proud to finally present a game that everyone on our team can be proud of.

The Process...

The Idea

At the start of the course, coming up with a solid game idea was definitely challenging, especially since we were a group of people who hadn’t met before. However, after some brainstorming and collaboration, Penguin Party was born. Our goal was to create a game that anyone could pick up and play with friends. We wanted something goofy, chaotic, and full of fun moments.
We drew inspiration from party games like Stick Fight and Party Animals, aiming to capture that same spirit of friendly mayhem and fast-paced action.

Development Journey

Like any development adventure, Penguin party was full of the most stupid bugs. We spent many late nights and early mornings staring at our screen in disbelief after a penguin would ascending after picking up fish, our shark started flying over the ice platform, ...
But each bug taught us something new, and every fix made the game a little more polished.

Looking Back

That's it!

Big thanks to the team for all the hard work, laughs and late nights that brought Penguin Party to life. We made a great game together.

We also appreciate our supervisors for their guidance and support throughout the project. Their feedback helped us stay on track and finish strong.
Thank you, Brecht and Emiel!
